Petition in support of farmers' milk price 15,808 people signed

Under the petition to help farmers to combat the low prices paid by milk during one month, 15,808 people have signed. Farmers in it calls for equal respect for the law on prices and the Law on Protection of Competition, and today it is handed over the signatures of the President of the Senate Premysl Sobotka (ODS). Because the petition is more than 10,000 signatures, it will address the upper chamber of some of their meeting.

Farmers complain of low purchase prices of milk, arguing that, especially for smaller farmers are winding. Their situation exacerbated by low purchasing prices of grain and oilseed. Many farmers have said the existential problems, and does not owe contractors payments for employees.
